Statement on the Anniversary of the Constitutional Decree

The Constitutional Revolution was a significant step in awakening Iranians, building a modern state, establishing the rule of law, making rulers accountable, and empowering citizens by achieving their fundamental rights and freedoms. The progress and deepening of constitutionalism in Iran and other countries has been a gradual process with ups and downs. In Iran, at the end of the Qajar era, this movement began and continued through the Pahlavi dynasty with significant modernization efforts.
