Message to the Students of Iran, February 24, 2026

Dear students, brave daughters and sons of Iran — you transformed the reopening of universities into the loud cry of the nation and demonstrated the unbreakable bond between university and nation. You showed that Iran is alive and the will of the nation cannot be silenced.

My father predicted nearly fifty years ago how future generations would judge him and his service. Today, you answered the judgment of history. His spirit is at peace seeing Iran’s children awake and standing with courage and awareness to reclaim Iran.

As long as our people are killed, our sisters and brothers face execution, and our mothers, fathers, spouses, and children mourn — until this dark night ends and Iran is freed from this occupying regime’s grip — nothing is normal and our struggle continues.

Know that the future belongs to you — to those of you who did not remain silent, who rose up and stood firm. Together, we will reclaim Iran and rebuild it.
