Message Honoring the Eternal Heroes of the January Uprising, July 7, 2026
Dear Compatriots,
The Islamic Republic is trying to drown out the true voice of the Iranian people amid the noise of a state-staged ceremony for an inherently criminal figure and one of the most hated rulers in Iran’s history. A worn-out, rotten, and decaying regime is attempting, through fabricated spectacles, false propaganda, and vast sums stolen from the pockets of the Iranian people, to manufacture a fake image of legitimacy for itself.
But the truth of Iran stands elsewhere: it stands alongside the names and memory of the brave sons and daughters who, with awareness, courage, and sacrifice, gave their lives for Iran’s freedom during one of the most critical moments in this nation's history.
More than 40,000 eternal heroes of January stepped onto this path fully aware of the dangers ahead. They knew they might never return home again, yet at the moment when Iran needed them, they stood firm. Unlike Zahhak’s mercenaries, they did not enter the field for petty promises or personal gain. They rose, with glory, to reclaim Iran and our national identity. They, who were made of life, belief, and light, stood against darkness so that the name of Iran would live on; and their own names have been forever etched into the history of our homeland. They showed that love of country is stronger than the fear of death.
Today, six months have passed since those days, but for the noble families of the eternal heroes, time remains frozen in those difficult nights; families who lost their loved ones, and in some cases their only breadwinners; fathers and mothers who open their eyes each morning to the absence of their child; spouses, sisters, and brothers who, alongside the pain of grief, also endure the pressure of threats and repression.
These families are not merely the bearers of loss; they are the guardians and trustees of the memory and sacrifice of Iran’s bravest children. It is the responsibility of all of us not to allow them to carry this heavy burden alone. It is our national and patriotic duty to support them more than ever: to visit them, amplify their voices, keep the memory of their loved ones alive, and, to the best of our ability, ensure that psychological pressure, threats, and financial hardship do not force them into silence and oblivion.
History has shown time and again that no power can forever silence the will of a united nation that has risen for liberation and to build a better future. The path illuminated by the sacrifice of Iran’s eternal heroes will continue, until the day Iran attains freedom, a national government, and a future worthy of our great nation.
Long live Iran.
