Meeting with the Chair of the European Parliament's Defense and Security Committee, January 28, 2026

Continuing meetings with European officials, today in Strasbourg I met with Marie-Agnes Strack-Zimmerman, Chair of the European Parliament's Defense and Security Committee.

During this meeting, we discussed the security threats posed by the Islamic Republic regime to Europe and the world, as well as Europe's vital role in supporting the Iranian people's freedom movement.

Europe must understand that its future security is tied to supporting the Iranian people's struggle for democracy.
